NBTA Study Shows US Network Carrier Fares Drop 7%
The NBTA commissioned
Travel Analytics to study the recent changes in US
domestic network carrier airfares. The study covered over 1
million fares in 2,500 city pairs. Results show an average
drop of 7% in the price of published fares from Dec. 29th to
Feb. 6th. Results vary widely by carrier, city pair and
booking class. (Feb. 2005)
